Live Premiership football, usually four and sometimes five games are shown every Saturday (the 3pm kick off ones are unavailble in England !), Sunday and Monday´s games as well as any televised midweek ones, plus Sky´s "Pay Per View". "tv.htm" target="_self" onMouseOver="window.status='Sky Sports TV Schedule';return true" onMouseOut="self.status=''; return true">click here for the next few weeks tv sports and other events, Grandstand and Sky Gillette Soccer Special inc the full football result service. (If you're missing the UK, here it is). Important games involving British teams are often picked up from other international satellite systems and, if available, matched to UK radio coverage for the commentary.

The football nights can get pretty lively, thanks in part to the fact that we're in Ibiza,so ladies,if your husband doesn´t like the atmosphere of a pub full of football supporters then take him into the beer garden where all major games are shown in a more relaxing atmosphere.
To continue the theme of live sports coverage - there is the Horse racing from the UK (usual facilities available) and the Grand Prix's, Superbikes, rugby, golf, darts, cricket, tennis, cycling, ski-ing, do you like boxing? Everything that's available on TV on that particular day. If you know it's on and on which channel/satellite station - they'll put it on for you.... One day 14 Scandinavian 'curling' afficianados turned up for an important match that obviously nobody else knew about? We found it, they watched it and people still occasionally talk about 'curling' hereabouts.

On that subject, you may have noticed that Ibizan snails hold impromptu races at certain times of the year to the top of the nearest tall thing. Sometimes it's the stem of a nearby plant, other times a telegraph pole. The Queen Vic is currently negotiating world-wide rights for transmission of the first global snail Olympics on Ibiza and looks well placed to secure the event, which they promise will not take place within the bar during summer opening hours.
